IBS makes a mark in Russia
S7 Cargo acting on behalf of S7 Airlines and GLOBUS airline, based in Russia, has signed up for iCargo, IBS’ new-generation cargo management solution. S7 Cargo has chosen iCargoNet, the SaaS offering of iCargo that will be hosted from IBS’ state-of-the-art data canters. With this the total number of cargo customers for IBS has grown to 19 in a very short space of time.
iCargo, developed in association with a Core Group of Influence comprising 6 leading airlines in the world, has, within a span of a few years grown to be an industry leading air cargo management solution globally. The IBS solution was selected by S7 Cargo for its strong customer service and proven ability to help cargo carriers in significantly increasing both operational and cost efficiencies. iCargoNet, the hosted version of iCargo lowers the total cost of ownership and facilitates transaction-based pricing, whilst bringing new benefits such as ease of global distribution and ability to add new modules and system features as the business needs of airlines grow and change.

Fuji Dream Airlines deploys IBS’ Reservation System
Start-up Japanese domestic airline Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA), went live with IBS’ iFly Res solution on 1 June 2009. Through a five year contract, IBS’ solution will support FDA in managing passenger reservations, inventory control, fares and departure control functions. iFly Res is a product that forms part of the iFly solution suite for airline passenger services. Till date, 18 airlines are committed to using products that make up this solution suite. iFly Res is a comprehensive customer sales and service solution, built ground up on new-generation technology, providing ample capabilities in shopping, pricing, inventory control and web check-in to help airlines best serve their customers through every point of their journey. Fuji Dream Airlines was incorporated in June 2008 to be the Suzuyo Group’s flight service arm. FDA launched domestic operations in July 2009, with Mt. Fuji Shizuoka airport in central Japan as its base.

Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts implements iDemand Gateway
Leading deluxe hotel brand Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has activated the iDemand Gateway from HBSi (an IBS Group Company) providing enhanced connectivity to many of their tour operator partners, wholesalers and other electronic distribution channels such as Travelocity, US Air Vacations and Travel Impressions. As a result, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts can instantaneously transmit their room availability, rates and inventory to members of the HBSi Demand Partner Network (DPN). In addition, this interface fully automates reservation delivery so the hotels will no longer be required to manually enter faxed or emailed reservations from these channels. While assuring accuracy, the HBSi connection replaces costly, error-prone manual processes for both the hotels and their distributors.
