IBS announces its campus at Technopark Print E-mail
Trivandrum (India), May 22: Shri. V.S. Achuthanandan, Chief Minister of Kerala, today formally inaugurated the IBS Campus Foundation Function at Technopark, Trivandrum. Shri. P.H Kurien, IT Secretary, Government of Kerala, presided over the function.

NIPPON CARGO AIRLINES is the Launch Customer for IBS's iCargo Print E-mail
Trivandrum (India), Apr 17: Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), Japan's only cargo-specialist airline, signed an agreement becoming the launch customer for iCargo - IBS' Next Generation Air Cargo and Logistics Management System. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held in Tokyo on 10 th April 2006. IBS's iCargo is a total cargo logistics system that has the functionality to fully support the supply chain management from shipper to consignee in all aspects of cargo logistics.

IBS announces acquisition of Discovery Travel Systems, USA Print E-mail
Trivandrum (India), Apr 05: IBS Software Services has announced its Asset Purchase Agreement with Discovery Travel Systems, L.P. (DTS), based in Washington DC, USA. This acquisition is the second in recent times by IBS and is in line with its strategy for inorganic growth through Mergers & Acquisitions. Air New Zealand successfully implements iFly -IBS' Staff Travel Solution Print E-mail
Trivandrum (India), Feb 07: Air New Zealand has successfully implemented iFly, IBS Software Services’ new generation solution for managing staff travel requirements of airlines. iFly is a new generation web-based business solution for managing all airline staff travel requirements. Air New Zealand, the launch customer for iFly, entered into an agreement with IBS for implementing iFly in September 2005.

IBS expands its Kochi operations by over 350 seats Print E-mail

Trivandrum (India), Feb 02: IBS Software Services has announced its plans to take up floor space of 32,000 square feet at the Leela Infopark at the Infopark campus at Kakkanad, Kochi. This space will seat 350 software professionals as IBS expands its operations in Kochi. This is IBS' second facility within the Infopark, having started its Cochin operations in July 2005 from the Thapasya building.

IBS plans massive recruitment at IT Kerala 2006 Print E-mail
Trivandrum (India), Jan 30: IBS Software Services plans to recruit heavily at the IT Kerala 2006. In the coming fiscal IBS intends to recruit about 700 to 1000 software professionals.

Iberia selects IBS fleet management system Print E-mail
Trivandrum (India), Dec 06: IBS, through its subsidiary company, Avient Solutions Limited, UK, has signed a contract with EDS to supply the Avient Fleet Management System to Iberia. This will help Iberia replace a number of legacy systems with one new integrated system. EDS is acting as the prime contract vendor for Iberia.
