IBS signs deal with Oman Air for Flight Operations Systems
Muscat, Oman June 02, 2008: IBS Software, a leading provider of new-generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industry, has signed a deal with Oman Air for a product suite, which includes AvientCrew for Crew Rostering and Tracking, AvientFleet for Fleet management and a close integration between the two to help optimize airline processes and resources for the airline. IBS will go ahead with an aggressive implementation to support Oman Air’s rapid growth plan.

Tokyo International Airport to operate on IBS' Cargo Management Solution
Trivandrum, May 28 2008: IBS Group announces the signing of a deal with Tokyo International Air Cargo Terminal Ltd (TIACT Ltd.) for implementation of the CTO (Cargo Terminal Operations) module of iCargo, IBS’ new-generation Cargo Management System. The IBS system will manage the new cargo terminal at Tokyo International Airport, also known as Haneda Airport. Haneda is ranked among the world's busiest passenger airports and will be the first neutral ground handler to use iCargo’s CTO module. The airport is currently undergoing a major expansion in terms of both capacity & technology and is scheduled to be fully functional by October 2010.

Airline Software Specialist IBS forays into Airline Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Business
Bangalore, May 21 2008 – IBS Software, a leading provider of IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics industries, announced that it has acquired the business of US based VISaer Inc., a leader in aviation maintenance and engineering (M&E) software solutions. With this acquisition, IBS would be one of the initial players to cater to the technological needs of the Airline Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business in India.

IBS Software enters Rotterdam, Netherlands
Trivandrum, May 06 2008: IBS Software, a leading global provider of new-generation IT solutions to the Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industry announced the setting up of an office at Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. Through the new facility, IBS seeks to establish an Ocean Transportation Line of Business (LoB), the latest addition to its six other lines of business. This is IBS’ second office in Europe after London and its fourteenth worldwide.

IBS Software enters Toronto, Ontario

IBS acquires HBSi, a US based IT company.
Trivandrum, March 27 2008 – IBS Software, a leading provider of IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics industries, today announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Atlanta based Hotel Booking Solutions Incorporated (HBSi), a leading provider of IT solutions to the hospitality industry. With this acquisition, IBS enters the Hospitality sector augmenting its existing Travel & Cruise line of business. This is a major acquisition for IBS and its 4th globally, having previously acquired TopAir from EDS (Switzerland, 2002), Avient Technologies from Honeywell Corporation (UK, 2003) and Discovery Travel Systems (USA, 2006).

Avient Solutions changes its brand to IBS Software Services
London, Feb 28 2008: Avient Solutions will now be known as IBS Software Services. IBS announced the inclusion of Avient Solutions, an IBS group subsidiary, to the parent company brand. It will continue to serve as the Global Centre of Excellence for the Airline and Airport Operations line of business as well as representing all of IBS’ interests in Europe.

IBS expands in India, signs deal with Jet Airways
Bengaluru, February 20 2008: IBS Software, a leading provider of new-generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industry, has announced that its Crew Management System- AvientCrew, has gone live with Jet Airways. With this implementation, Jet Airways becomes the first Indian customer for IBS and also the first in the Indian aviation industry to use AvientCrew to handle mission-critical flight operations. IBS also announced the inauguration of its 12th global centre at Bengaluru, which will be its 3rd development centre in India. With the Indian aviation industry growing at its current pace, IBS sees a big business opportunity for its new-generation solutions in the Indian market.

IBS wins ‘Cargo IT Systems Provider of the Year’ Award
Trivandrum, January 2008: IBS Software, a leading provider of new-generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industry, was declared the winner of the ‘Emerging Cargo IT Systems Provider of the Year’ award. This was announced at Air Cargo India 2008, an international event that concluded at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai, on 25th January. VK Mathews, Chairman and CEO, IBS Software, received this award from Michael Proffitt, CEO - Dubai Logistics City, at the ‘Gala Award Nite Dinner’ at the National Center for Performing Arts, Mumbai. IBS’ iCargo, a new-generation Cargo Management System (CMS), was chosen winner of the award based on factors such as functionality, technology used and the range of business benefits to airlines.

Air New Zealand signs up for IBS’ iCargo
Mumbai, Jan 24 2008: IBS Software Services, a leading global provider of new-generation IT solutions to the Travel, Transportation and Logistics industry has signed an agreement with Air New Zealand Cargo to provide iCargo, an integrated end-to-end supply chain management engine, to manage their cargo business. IBS’ new-generation Cargo Management System (CMS) – iCargo – will help Air New Zealand integrate their cargo business, both domestic and international and will address the current and future business requirements of Air New Zealand’s entire air freight operation which has seen a growth of 20% in revenue in the last fiscal. Air New Zealand is among the top 50 of the world’s air freight carriers based on Freight Tonne-Kilometres and is the third major carrier, after Nippon Cargo Airlines and All Nippon Airways, to sign up for iCargo.
