Jayan is responsible for developing HR organization-wide, as a credible business partner for the Company as it enters its next stage of growth.

Jayan is the youngest member of IBS’ Executive Management Team, with close to 12 years of experience at IBS alone. A versatile leader, his leadership and management skills have spanned different functions within the Company – Global Service Delivery, Production Services and Line of Business (LoB) management.

In his previous role, Jayan headed the Software Services LoB, responsible for acquiring several large and well-known customer accounts. Prior to this, he successfully set up the Production Services wing of IBS that manages Resources Deployment, Project Management, Technology Competence and Network Services. This unit ensures that the Company has the right level of project management and technology competence to deliver the services contracted with customers. The Production Services also ensure that the Company has the technology and communication infrastructure and support capability for supporting its business operations.

Previously Jayan had managed large projects as also product development for mission-critical systems in the airline domain, for instance the development of IBS’ new-generation airline passenger services system. Jayan was also instrumental in setting up and managing IBS’ Technology Consulting Division and played a key role in the international level quality certifications of the Company, defining and institutionalizing several processes and policies within the organization. His understanding of current market dynamics helped him set up different organization-wide initiatives like Product Certification and Productivity Improvement program.

Jayan holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Kerala. Prior to joining IBS in 1997, Jayan had a brief stint with the Steel Authority of India (SAIL).
