Enhanced functionality through iLogistics new version
The standout feature of the new version is that the solution ensures greater safety in logistics management and facilitates Oil & Gas companies to undertake integrated operations with their aviation service providers. iLogistics, a complete suite of solutions for the management of upstream Oil & Gas Logistics, has been identified by the industry as the only tailor-made solution that concurrently facilitates the movement of people and material by Air, Sea and Land. The solution has been adopted by the top Fortune 500 oil majors as their global logistics management system.

IBS has made significant investment in R&D to create functionality that caters to the increasing need for safer, intelligent and cost effective logistics operations. For instance, iLogistics Version 6.1 automatically determines the optimal route for a voyage. Logistics Managers can now ensure that their logistics operations are carried out at optimized levels and thereby achieve their key KPI of efficient logistics management at minimum OPEX and CAPEX.

iLogistics 6.1 offers the following benefits to customers:

  1. Reduced cost of adoption and faster RoI
  2. High level of operational efficiency with lower financial outlay
  3. Increased automation and efficiency in complex material movements across shore bases/rigs
  4. Increased utilization of logistics resources through optimized route planning
  5. Increased transparency and visibility into operations

To address the need for highly coordinated and safe material movement across shore-bases and platforms, iLogistics 6.1 enables automation of most of the processes from the point of material requisition to final delivery. This includes enabling request creation through web, providing material vendors an interface for coordinated operations, automating all aspects of shipment planning, containerizing/packing, tracking material across its journey, managing the commercial health of the entire operations, etc.

iLogistics 6.1 also extends its scope to aviation service providers thereby enabling oil and gas companies to work more closely in managing their logistics. To facilitate faster response, service companies obtain secure access via web to view the personnel/material movement requirements and schedules. Information regarding all requests is updated in real time thereby enabling them to plan resource mobilization faster. Operational highlights in terms of total flying hours clocked for the company can also be viewed by the service companies.

The product can also be easily integrated with other third party ERP applications and is compatible with multiple technology environments keeping in mind the need for faster and flexible operations.
