Position Title: Solution Architect (IBS005)
Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand the requirements. Conduct design discussions and present designs to clients and architects. Ensure timely delivery of quality products. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including project maintenance, effort estimations, production support, troubleshooting and software testing. Coordinate release activities and support production issues. Responsible for analysis, design, development and documentation activities. Develop different features by using Java, Spring, Hibernate and AWS (Amazon Web Services). Confirm with stakeholders and plot the design to satisfy the needs of partners aligned to our platform. Utilize UML and class diagrams to plot the flows. Develop code and follow Java standards to satisfy recent security standards and best coding practices. Utilize Amazon web services to build new services and applications. Ensure features are deployed correctly and function as anticipated. Perform onsite and offshore coordination. Conduct daily standup meeting, sprint planning meeting, mid-sprint meeting, sprint retrospective meeting, and technical envisioning meeting to adhere to Agile principles. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
Requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role. Requires one (1) year of experience in the following: software development; analyzing architecture constraints and providing solutions; architecting and operating solutions built on Amazon Web Services; monitoring performance and usage using Graphite, Hubble, and Splunk Logs. Must also have one (1) year of experience in the following: Java; J2EE; Spring Boot; Hibernate; Jira; Stash; Git; Jenkins; Glu; Junit; TestNG; Graphite; Tomcat; Rest and Soap Web Service for creating external interfaces for applications or connecting to third party services, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for managing cloud-based applications. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role in lieu of a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
