Position Title: Solution Architect (IBS007)

Job Description

Plan, estimate, envision, and develop services in Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform and the specific features required for web-service API consumers. Analyze the requirements for product enhancement to prepare user stories. Review and recommend selection of third-party software platforms. Analyze and design database implementations for various features. Develop code in adherence to requirements and design specifications conforming to coding standards and guidelines. Create and maintain deployment jobs and pipelines for different services. Propose and practice new process to reduce the release cycles. Monitor the feature statistics. Responsible for review, approval and merging code changes into the car modules GIT repository. Ensure that the APIs build follows REST standards and push across the teams to follow the same. Responsible for making the AWS instances resilient. Track the sprint task board, conduct meetings mid-sprint, and identify road blocks, resolution, and sprint velocity. Define stories for a feature in the order of priority and ensure that the stories and bugs have acceptance criteria and the estimates are defined. Travel and work at various unanticipated clients sites as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems or related field plus one (1) year of experience in software architecture or related information technology experience. Requires one (1) year of experience in: data structures to process large data sets; sorting algorithms to sort large data; advanced application development using Java; version control tool Git; code development and debugging using Intellij; query, update, and performance of database transactions using SQL developer; and building microservices using Spring technology. Employer will also accept a bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of described experience in lieu of a Master's degree plus one (1) year of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at various unanticipated clients sites as assigned.
