IBS announces its campus at Technopark

Trivandrum, 22 May 2006: Shri. V.S. Achuthanandan, Chief Minister of Kerala, today formallyinaugurated the IBS Campus Foundation Function at Technopark, Trivandrum. Shri. P.H Kurien,IT Secretary, Government of Kerala, presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. V.K Mathews, Chairman & Managing Director, IBS Group
said, “This is an important milestone for IBS’ growth in Kerala. The State Government’sprogressive IT policies, high quality infrastructure and availability of local talent have encouragedus to make Technopark, Trivandrum, the hub of our India operations. While we currently operatefrom 2 buildings here, we felt it advantageous to also have our own campus in order to supportour aggressive growth plans.”

IBS is building its own campus within Technopark in 5.3 Acres of land. The campus will haveapproximately 4,50,000 square feet of office space, which would accommodate nearly 4000employees. The master plan consists of 4 buildings, self-sufficient with cafeteria, amenities,activity centres, parking lots etc. In addition, the IBS campus would have its own ‘Open-AirTheatre’.

IBS is currently extending its infrastructure in Infopark, Kochi with additional office space andwould build its own campus in Kochi at a later date. The Company expects to reach a staffstrength of over 5000 in the next 5 years.
