IBS plans massive recruitment at IT Kerala 2006

Trivandrum, 30 January 2006: IBS Software Services plans to recruit heavily at the IT Kerala 2006. In the coming fiscal IBS intends to recruit about 700 to 1000 software professionals.

Participation in IT Kerala will give IBS an ideal opportunity to meet hundreds of candidates at one centre. This will help IBS ramp up employee strength to meet the growing requirements for its worldwide operations. IBS plans to recruit both fresh and experienced software professionals (engineering and MCA graduates) and business analysts (MBAs). With on-the-spot screening of resumes, tests and interviews at its Kochi office (Thapasya building, Infopark), IBS plans to hand out offer letters to selected candidates during the course of the event.

This recruitment drive is keeping in line with IBS’ plans to further strengthen its position as a leading global software company in the TTL (Travel, Transportation and Logistics) industry. With growing clientele and a need to keep pace with customer expectations, IBS has been on a recruitment overdrive. Its employee base has gone up by 250 professionals in the last six months alone. Lately, IBS has been a prominent visitor at campuses, job fairs and in software friendly cities like Bangalore and Chennai, to recruit for its offices at Trivandrum, Kochi, Atlanta, London, Dubai and Sydney.

IT Kerala 2006, the premier IT event organised jointly by the Govt. of Kerala and the Kerala State IT Mission scheduled to held at Infopark, Kochi, from 31st Jan to 4th Feb 2006, brings together more than 100 top IT companies from all over the world. IBS will showcase its expertise in the Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) domains as well as in e-Governance and consulting services. IBS’ portfolio of products and services will be on display at Stall # 54 (Connect Biz) and at the Job Mart – Stall# 115.
