IBS Software has won the Express IT Awards constituted by Financial Express (the leading business newspaper in India) to recognise and honour companies who are at the cutting edge of technology innovations.
The list of 400 plus entries had been whittled down to 50 by knowledge partner of Financial Express PwC . IBS’s Oil and Gas Logistics shared services platform was selected for the innovative solution award category by an eminent jury panel comprising of globally recognized innovators – corporate heads, academicians and thought-leaders from the IT industry.
Oil & Gas industry is going through a massive transformation aimed to drastically improve operation efficiency and reduce operational cost. Logistics and Supply Chain is an area most of the companies are now keenly focusing on digitization. The shared services platform from IBS's Oil and Gas division helps in sharing of assets (eg: airplanes, helicopters, trains, trucks, buses and boats) between multiple Oil and Gas companies and to work in a collaborative and safe environment. Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad, minister for IT, Electronics and Law & Justice, Anant Goenka, Executive Director of Indian Express, Mahim Jain, Deputy Director General, Bureau of Indian Standards gave away the awards and Remasankar S, Global Head of Oil and Gas Logistics unit received the award on behalf of IBS Software.
