Amit Jain

Amit Jain is an SVP and Global Head of Engineering at IBS Software responsible for Engineering function. Amit brings decades of experience in the software product development, having held leadership positions with enterprise software product organizations such as Mitratech, Oracle and Novell.

Most recently Amit was a Global Vice President of Engineering at Mitratech, an ELM, GRC and Workflow Automation company, where he led the product engineering function and developed a successful SaaS platform strategy. Previously, Amit worked at Oracle for more than a decade, where he helped build an enterprise SOA Suite platform, a key component of Fusion Middleware and the underpinning of Oracle Fusion SaaS applications. He later led its transformation to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), a cloud native, multi-tenant, iPaaS offering on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Prior to that, Amit worked at Novell Software building Java based Open Source products in areas of Network Protocols, Security and Database. He started his career as a Defence Scientist with DRDO, a prestigious Govt. of India research organization.

Amit is an Electronics Engineer from NIT, Raipur and DIAT Pune. He is also an alumnus of IIM Bangalore.
